🎠Audition Alert: Little Mermaid ðŸŽ

Joliet Drama Guild is looking for performers in their production of Disney’s The Little Mermaid! We are
highly encouraging actors of all ages, genders, races, and sizes to audition. It is very important to us as
a team to mention that we do not have any specific visions in mind regarding the physical appearance
of the lead roles. We want to see your best singing, acting, and dancing, and we will be basing our decisions
on those factors. Keep in mind that the character age ranges listed in the character descriptions below
are a suggestion for the character’s age appearance on stage, not necessarily the age of the actor that
will be cast in each role. We will also keep in mind appropriate age gaps between characters in the
casting process. The gender of each character in the musical cannot be changed per the licensing
agreement, but we are taking into consideration all genders for roles, not just the genders listed for
each character.
Rehearsals will start sometime in late May or early June, depending on cast and staff conflicts, and
rehearsal space availability.
